07/08/2002 | K8AJS I was single-op, cw-only, low power, but wound up in MS mixed because I used packet to find those elusive multipliers. Great contest; good conditions. Don't know how it was on phone, but some of the Oceania multipliers on CW had to suffer under some of the worst pile-up behavior that I've seen in a long time. When a 'rare' multiplier comes on, it seems that good operating practices get thrown out the window. It's getting worse every year; it's time to think about ways to improve our habits. -- K8AJS
