07/08/2002 | W4ZW The multi consisted of some of the 42 7th Grade students from a local school who signed up for licensing classes as a result of a science physics/ham radio class I taught recently. They had a ball and I found myself feeling that same sense of awe I had when I found ham radio as a teenager. Thanks to all the contesters who took time to compliment the kids for doing the contest and encouraging them to find the fun in ham radio. I look forward to having a high school contest at this this local school. -- W4ZW
