02/21/2003 | W7KPL This was a wonderful contest. My 100 watts and dipole worked well. 10 meters was hot most of the time. 100 contacts in about 15 hours. I need to get with the 21st Century on this logging business. I'm still a paper and pencil man when it comes to contests. My dad, W9NU/W9IPT, a Silent Key, was a real contest man. I have his Sweepstakes Log from 1947! I'll be in the phone test March 1-2.Thanks to all. I look forward to next year. Low power and wire antennas. Ya can't beat it!
