PY0FF
Thanks to all who worked PY0FF on 10 meters. Claimed score of 341K exceeds previous SB 10 South America record. Here are pictures of myself at the operating position and the 7 over 7 10 meter array. Thanks to the Araucaria DX Group and my host Andre PY0FF for putting together a great station on the wonderful island of Fernando de Noronha. Since my first visit to Noronha in 1988, slowly there have been changes to accomodate growing tourism, but it largely remains an unspoiled tropical paradise, with 70% of the island protected as a National Park, and population limited to about 2500.
In addition to 1,930 contest QSO's I logged over 2,600 mostly WARC band contacts before and after the contest as PY0ZFO. QSL's for both PY0FF and PY0ZFO via W9VA. 73 Bill -- W9VA
