Arrived late due to ICE storm in Dallas. Got into KP4 about 2AM.
Arrived Thurs afternoon on Antigua and luggage showed up about 11 PM. In our final approach to Antigua - Thanks to the pilots for showing off how well a passenger jet can turn and descend. Don't think I've see a passenger seat that far off vertical!
Setup the K2/100 Thurs night and ran EU with the fixed 3 element 80.
This antenna is a joy to use. No outboard filters thurs night on the K2 even with the BBC next door. Checked the North Star and aligned the rotators. A recommended practice in my book.
Discovered the stove was questionable and Friday purchased numerous bottled waters and Slim Fast.
Had SO2R setup with the TS850 making all the QSO's during the test.
Had RF problems in shack at certain hours. Got into Audio for short time each day. Used the local PS which has numerous cables to tower switches. RF was from the BBC getting into power supply.
After the contest had dinner with the V26DX operators.
http://www.qsl.net/v26p/v26dx.htm -- shows picture of V2 operators. Tnx to the V26DX operators! And what a great group to meet.
Thanks for QSO's !
