07/25/2003 | PJ2T NW0L, WB9Z and AE9B traveled to the Island of Curacao and the awesome contest station of PJ2T with one goal in mind, a #1 World Win, but prior to the contest didn't even know what category they were entering. After deliberation the Multi-2 category (with only 3 operators) was chosen as a best opportunity for a good score. As the team exceeded their goals they reset and strived for new ones. When the air had cleared the 3 tired operators sat exhausted with huge smiles knowing they had given their all and had a good score. The pile-ups were endless and we found out later that all the USA antennas were pointed south. Yes, the RF gods shined on PJ2T that weekend. The beautiful scenery reminded the 3 Midwest guys that they were in the right place in March. -- AE9B
