The usual problems with short operating periods with all the other demands of the holiday, but thoroughly enjoyable. Used my Kent Engineers replica of the Marconi spark key from the Titanic and had eighteen QSOs, most on 40 meters. By far, most of the fists were excellent and a lot of vintage gear was on the air. It is easy to forget the sheer pleasure and free-flowing nature of hand-keyed Morse!
Based on several comments: How about a Nostalgia Night (actually 24 hours, just like SKN) with tube-type transmitters (vintage or homebrew) and straight keys or bugs. No contest, just a celebration of our shared heritage.
