02/20/2004 | AD4E SKN is probably my favorite special event of the year. its always a pleasure to turn on the old Drake 2-C/2-NT station that i used as a novice back in Pittsburgh, PA when i was 12 years old. now, my three-year old son gets a real kick out of seeing the gear turned on too & hopefully he'll get his ham license someday. c ya next year.
