01/23/2003 | K4TO What follows is a statement of gratitude, not an occasion to brag. I thoroughly enjoyed this contest. Everything operated perfectly from 50 mhz through 3456 Mhz. I've never had things go so smoothly. The weather was a different story. A double dose of thanks to the Rovers who braved the Winter conditions to put those rare grids on for the contest. Also I must say that the courtesy and operating skill of the participants that I heard was excellent. The longer I work the bands above 50 Mhz, the more I come to respect and enjoy the people I meet.
