01/25/2003 | W4EUH This January contest found me in the process of moving all my gear & antennae from my old "shack" over to my new home. I was able to get both towers up, but the extremely cold weather prevented me from getting the 222 & 432MHZ Yagis up. So, I was limited to 50 & 144MHZ and 440FM.
I was happy to make more contacts on 446FM than I anticipated, but the grid totals suffered using an omni. Band conditions were average, noise levels were high towards the south. If there was a 50MHZ opening, I guess I missed it! Hats off to rovers!
