01/28/2003 | WD5AGO Had a good time for the short amount of time operated. Just to cold and windy this time around to run QRP-Portable. Sundown Saturday about-5 hours was about it. Worked on 6,2,1.2m and 70,23 and 6cm.
Equipment: Stacked 6m PAR's, Stacked 2m BigWheels, 222 - HB 8ele, 432 HB 18ele, 1296 - 25 ele, and 2'dish on 5760MHz. 10 watts to 1296 (3w)and 1w on 5760 MHz. AND YES, I got it all in the 2000 Chevy Cav. (only stuck out 2' past bumber). Driving time was only 10min. Conditions were fair here in NE Okla, EM26bd. -- WD5AGO
