As I ponder the events that shall soon take place,

I am reminded this is not a contest nor a race.


We practice here in the rain and in the sun,

Against a day we hope will never come.


With the towers and the poles that now stand so tall

I am sure that not one of them will colapse or fall.


Our setup job is finally done at last,

but we cannot put Field day in the Past.


We are committed to show the world our best,

And will make contact with all the rest.


The CW station soon will groan from use,

And the SSB mic will not be turned loose.


At TARC we do know how to do it right,

From A.T.V. to satellite.


We have a station beyond compare,

One that's called Get On The Air.


So please watch over our courageous club today,

As we beat the crap out everyone else in Category 2A.
