06/30/2003 | WB4QNG Worked at home. Still think this is where I will be if the real things hit if my house is still standing. I was kind of dissapointed in the number of contacts. Less than 40. Then I looked at them 21 different states, Canada, and Cuba. Not bad considering 5 watts to a 4 ft iron horse ant. in my attic tuned by an old Dentron Super tuner to work all bands.I guess it was a success. Do wish 10 and 15 were open. Did learn that the battery out of truck would last the whole time with out charging. Now for next year. Take batteries out of car and truck and run 100 watts to all my ant. Drive to a big hill and operate out of my truck. Join a club. Oh well got a year to think about it. 73 Terry -- WB4QNG
