07/01/2003 | K0DAN Larry (K1LK) and Dan (K0DAN) operated class 2B from Missouri using windom and half-square antennas. Band conditions were tough: only 40 and 20 meters had any significant activity, and conditions were crowded and noisy! The weather held out for us, the insect situation was manageable, and the generator operated without a flaw. We used a pair of laptops linked via 802.11B wireless LAN for logging and to copy the W1AW RTYY Bulletin. We used the free N1MM contest logging software, and were extremely impressed by it. -- K0DAN
