07/13/2003 | K1KC The Conyers Amateur Radio Group, of Conyers, Georgia enjoyed their best Field Day effort of several years due primarily to the excellent covered dish dinner Saturday evening! Well, there was SOME organizing that went into it. Over fifty folks showed up and enjoyed the food, fellowship and joy of Amateur Radio. We were thinking of changing our 5A entry to 3AC (three air conditioners that were in some of the trailers)! Our medium power entry was in stark contrast to last year's QRP-only, battery power-only effort. We've already critiqued this year's event and have some plans for next year.
