07/22/2003 | KB4PPE It was a great event, and I plan to operate in it more often.
My stn consisted of a Ten Tec Scout (set @ 5 watts), a 130 ft
dipole fed with ladder line via a homebrew tuner, a 50 watt
pv to 2 deep cycle lead acid batteries, and a gas generator-
which I did not need to fire up throughout the event- 100 %
natural power.
It was a good exercise for the inevitable. Until next year....
