2003 ARRL Field Day
The weather was about as close to perfect as we could hope.
Our operation was pretty easy-going, nobody had any illusions of greatness. We wanted to accomplish three things, 1) Get set up,
2) Operate as best we could, and 3) Have some fun. I think we met all of those goals pretty well.
MARA FD is almost a family reunion. Members who live far away or work
hours that prevent them from coming to meetings make it for Field Day.
It's always good to see friends, and hopefully everyone feels free to
bring someone new to the event, just to give them an idea what Field Day and Ham Radio are all about.
Looking forward to next year, and another fine Field Day! -- WA8YCD
