07/15/2003 | KF4KWO Made my first real homebrew antenna for this contest - a monoband dipole for 10. I made 5 QSO's with South American stations in 30 minutes, but conditions were really bad. Since the HTX-10 is my only rig right now, I hung it up and decided to try again another day. Gonna try the 10-10 contest in August to see if I should get my dipole higher or just go back to being mobile. -- KF4KWO
