HI.
This was my first sweepstakes and it was a lot of fun. The bands could have cooperated more.
10 meters was dead until Sunday. I heard a lot of the east coast there running 40 over 9, but they were stations I had already worked.
15 and 20 were very good and very busy. The signals came and went erratically. I had several comments on how strong my 5W station was from stations I had been calling for 10 to 20 minutes! Many times stations would disappear mid-QSO.
My antenna is a B & W multi-band folded dipole at 6,030 feet. That helps a lot. However you sure can't park and call CQ using QRP.
I heard all sections except NT, SK, and NL, but I couldn't work tham all. They didn't hear me. Frustrating.
I'm looking forward to next year.
