The old Flatland Amateur Radio Transmitting Society convened once again at the W0NO QTH. Conditions were a little more stable than for the cw session (see our CW 03 soapbox under K0WA). NL was the last section to go in the log Sunday morning, as has been the case more often than not for us the last few Sweepstakes.

Its sure good to log so many recent checks. Some undoubtedly are new club callsigns etc. but many are honest newbies. Witness some of the other soapbox comments here..... In fact our station owner W0NO has only been licensed since 1999 although the bug has been in him much longer. Apparently the future of contesting is bright.

We used the 2nd radio to better effect in this contest than any previous effort, but we still have much to learn about the most effective use of it.
