12/09/2003 | AD4TJ Strange conditions! Worked both Hawaii stations, KH7R and KH6ND, but couldn't complete with any California stations! Heard no Europeans, but then again, I had no beverage antennas, either! Had to use the lowly inverted-L for both xmit and receive. Bummer! Used Packet for the first time hoping to spot the elusive state of Alaska, but saw no spots. Maybe next year. -- AD4TJ
