12/15/2003 | WA3ELQ Despite having a limited amount of time to operate this year, I had a great time. Conditions were a little more challenging this year, but band openings into Europe, South America, and the west coast made things exciting. Even with only 80 watts and the antenna only 15 feet off the ground I found I was able to compete with the big guns for QSO's. Propagation was strange this time.
