2003 ARRL 10 Meter Contest

This is my second 10 Meter Contest and numbers were not as good as last year. My total time operating is probably a little over 6 hours but operation was sporadic.
Probably my biggest suprise was when I checked out the band on 10 meters before going to bed Saturday night. It was approximately 0500Z (Midnight local on east coast) and I heard several stations. I was able to make 6 contacts in about 15 minutes before going to bed.
Total contacts this year only 70 (down from 100 last year) despite my aquiring a 100W TS-130SE (last year a Radio Shack HTX 100) and a (hopefully) improved Inverted V on top of my roof. Unfortunately due to the close proximaty to my sons Television, I was a good source of TVI. DX contacts were also down as most of my multipliers came from working different states (only 23 multipliers).
Can't wait until Next Year!
