01/04/2004 | K1RV This was a great SKN! I made a total of 19 contacts with some nice ragchews. Several stations were using older rigs and some homebrew gear. There were quite a few QRP stations and LOTS of FISTS members!

My nomination for most interesting QSO goes to Mac-WB8OZX/QRP who is 89 years young and has been licensed for 75 years! Best Fist was Uli-DL7EQ.

This year I used a Replica of a key that Marconi used in 1895 and made special photo QSL cards to send to all SKN contacts. This key has quite a heavy spring and I had "glass arm" by the end of SKN!
