01/05/2004 | W2QU A holiday "tradition", Straight Key Night is a great opportunity to dust off some of your older gear and fire it up! Which is exactly what happened to my HW-16; snap, crackle, pop! Switching over to a more modern rig, I was able to make a few contacts in between entertaining guests at our lodge. Found Ken. N8KC, was doing the same; operating while at a party!
