01/09/2004 | KD5UZJ SKN was wonderfull my equipment was embarrassingly new compared to most. The Rig was my Yaesu FT-897 and my key a Vibroplex Double with straight key beside an original bug. I made 7 contacts all enjoyable Rag Chews. 4 on 80 m, 1 on 40m, 1 on 20m, and 1 on 15m. Stations worked were KK5UEX, W3DCG, KG6GHS, NW0O, K7TFW, KD7GIM, and K7HP. K7HP Hank gets my vote for both best fist and most interesting QSO, although all my QSOs were very interesting and every fist music to the ear. My Poor Arthritic Glass Arm might be recovered in time for SKN 2005 Hi Hi. Several of the contacts were old freinds.
