01/16/2004 | N0OA I had a blast. I did this on a whim. Drug out the ol' radio shack key.
This is the same key that I learned on as a high school kid. I made ten Q's. It took about 19 hours of intermittant operating. But, I did get 9 different states in those 10 Q's.

The most fun was talking with Nick (W7NMD) who was using an old 1900 railroad key. He had a great fist, great sense of humor and VERY patient with my very klutzy code. If there was a QLF catagory, I would

I was inspired by a "contest" put on my the Minnesota Wireless Association. (A can of brasso for the ol' key if you made ten contacts....
