My first time to do SKN after being a ham for over 35 years. There have sure been some periods of inactivity in those years too. I had a great time and contacted 8 stations during the event. There are some great fists out there. It would sure be a shame to see CW disappear from amateur radio. Stations worked were N0IK, K0JW, KA4UPW, K4MY, N3MVX, KJ5CR, N4DU, and KD5UOH. All QSO's were enjoyable. The band was better at times than others. Most QSO's were on 40 meters with a dipole. The most enjoyable chat was with John, KJ5CR a retired physician in Bryan, Texas where I lived while at Texas A&M. The rig was a TS-520S that I bought new while living in Bryan. I'm looking forward to next year.
