Icom 735 - 100 watts - 2 el at 60 ft & G5RV, about 9 hrs. Missed MAR for sweep KL2A never signed KL2A/7 since he was in WWA - but in S&P which most SS participants use, a KL prefix attracts considerable attention as it indicates Alaska, a desirable and needed section. When a station uses a prefix to unfair advantage to get contacts, it is no different than if he self spots, etc. It is up to the sponsor - in this case - ARRL - to insure no gross violations. We, and many others, will be watching for the printed results and see if certain stations can knowingly violate the spirit and integrity of the contest our future participation rides on this. -- K2YF
