01/02/2005 | W4WXA I had a wonderful time during SKN 2004. Had about nine or ten very
enjoyable QSOs. I was visiting a friend out of town and took my
Ten Tec Model 544 along. I operated from the back of my car with
the rig in the trunk, and me sitting on a folding chair. My antenna
was a Hustler mobile whip and the straight key was a Bencher. Made
contacts on 80, 40, and 20 meters. The weather was great so I could
operate outside with no problem. I got my ticket in 1952 and have really enjoyed the hobby. 73 to all de Tom -- W4WXA
