05/01/2002 | N2EY After many years of SS at the "A" level, decided to try QRP with my Elecraft K2. Antenna is an 80/40 inverted V with homebrew traps and the apex at 35 feet. I'm amazed at the results given the time and setup!

Biggest thrill was working VY1JA - first YU/NWT in over 30 years of trying! Musta been "mojo"!

No computer used - in fact, not even a memory keyer. Op was powered by homemade anchovy pizza, a la Grommethead Schultz.
