03/08/2004 | K4DET What a weekend! This is my first contest as an Amateur Extra, and I love the new bands. My 756PRO held up fine driving 175 feet of 75 ohm RG-11 into a homebrew multiband dipole at 70 feet. I need more antenna for 15m, that's for sure.

It would've been a lot easier if I'd found my headset - I worked the whole contest using the stock microphone and tiny speaker build into the radio!
