03/10/2004 | WW9R The contest was a lot of fun. It would have been nice if ten would have opened up. Why is it that even if ten is shut down, you can always hear PJ2T?

There seemed to be more qrp stations this year and they sounded great.

The highlight of the contest for me was my 40 meter contacts. My antenna farm consists of a Gap Titan DX vertical, so even though it loads nicely on 40, I don't expect to work DX. But I worked 14 countries on 40 meters saturday night. Thank goodness they had great ears.

Now that I have been bitten by 40 meters, I can't wait until the next test...
