03/12/2004 | W4MOT WoW my first DX Contest and it was a blast!!!

I worked 15 meters and had a modest set up. IC 718 with a R% vertical up about 20 feet or so.

But I mananged to work 62 countries and 134 Contacts in 48 hours. Not to shabby for a rokie ;.

Best higlights was working AR1K in Pakastan at 0015 UTC on 15 meters.

Also hit JH VK 5U HC and countless others

I heard a station in Bahrain and he repeated my call sign but we didn't complete the contact that was a bummer :.

Already looking forward to next years contest I am hooked on DX :)
