06/15/2004 | K0RPT Well, this was my first try at a contest. I was pretty bummed as all week long propagation was great on 6. Saturday morning 6 was open to the NW with stations pouring in Nebraska. Then out of the blue comes this nasty storm and all the bands went dead. With a whopping total of 71 contacts I think I will have to pray a bit more next year. It was still fun to set up the antennas and give it a try! -- K0RPT
