06/19/2004 | W0LSD Had a great time working the contest from Mt. Princeton, DM68 in Colorado .... We didnt obtain the score we did last year but we did receive an email from N4DXY/MM/R that they heard us on 2-meters in grids EM54 and EM64, (Colorado to Alabama on 2-meters) .... Now that we know we can be heard from 9000 feet, guess we need to buy a few preamps so we can hear everyone else next year.... We operated 6-meters, 2-meters and 70-cm .... Operators were Ken, W0LSD Bruce, N0KIS and Alan, WD0BGZ .... Our rigs were Icom 756pro, 746pro and a 706 ...... -- WD0BGZ
