06/28/2004 | KC0DEB After some needed weed-wacking of the choosen spot for our site, we got on the air fairly fast. (The plentyful previous rainfall had transformed the site into a small jungle...)
We enjoyed the great opening on 6M ! These QSO's were my 1st on this band, TNX guys! Next edition we'll add a "real" 6M antenna to the set-up for sure. We used the 10-15-20 dipole to tune the "magic Band" this time, and to our suprise it did work pretty well.
This was our 1st "2B" Field Day endeavor, what a great experience! -- KC0DEB
