KQ6EE
kq6ee was in action: hiked up to Mt. San Antonio in Los Angeles area (Mt. Baldy -- third highest mountain in Southern California). I took me 4 hours to get to the peak. I operated 1B mostly vhf and uhf. Many curious hikers asked what I was doing. I told them I was doing ham radio field day. They ask "what frequency, how far you can talk???? ". I should setup the information boot at 10064 feet mountain top. But sometime, the wind blow so hard, it might blow everything away. I arrived at the top at about 10:30am, setup my qrp station, late my lunch, CQ FIELDDAY, and enjoy the day at the top of Los Angeles. 73 -- KQ6EE
