2004 ARRL Field Day

06/29/2004 | WB2JSM HALL OF SCIENCE AMATEUR RADIO CLUB ESTABLISHES THEIR FIELD DAY LINK AT AN EXHIBITION HALL LOCATED ON THE FORMER 1964 - 1965 WORLDS FAIR SITE

HOSARC members worked their Field Day installation at the New York Hall of Science, their namesake. Host for all of the club's activities, this is New York City's only hands on science and technology center. Members of the club operate a working station as an exhibit year round. This provides visitors, both young and old alike, a first hand view of an operating ham station. What a great way to promote our radio sport.

As usual making had ample room to erect the antennas needed to operate FD.
