2004 ARRL Field Day
We ran a 2A Low Power Operation with two AB-577 military masts for antenna supports (tri-band HF beam, and six meter beam). Wire antennas were used for 40M and 80M.
On Friday afternoon the weather was WET!. Putting up tents in the rain is no fun... On Friday night it really rained but the tents held and everyone got to sleep dry.
We ate all but two meals at the site. We had 14 participants and a the new guys that don't normally do a lot of contesting got to have some fun.
A very special thanks to Arden and Golda Quesinberry, who allowed us to again use this wonderful site on his Patrick County, Virginia farm. -- W4FAL
