06/29/2004 | W5NOR The South Canadian Amateur Radio Society, Norman, Oklahoma had their best Field Day ever this year. We had 30 members participate and over 30 guests.
Attending were K5RAV, Vice Director West Gulf Division, WB5SYT, Section Manager Oklahoma, Harold Haralson Mayor, Rachel Butler and David Hopper City Council Members. We operated W5NOR 3A and should score the best we ever have as well. The highlight of the event, equipment-wise was a Mod 28 Teletype machine with which we copied the W1AW bulletin. -- N5UMH
