06/30/2004 | KD5AFE At the urging of the Mayor we held our field day in Pryor this year. We had 3 new hams make their first ever hf contacts, one of which is the youngest (12) ever member for our club. We were also visited by 3 local officials, the Mayor, Former City Judge and the County Emergency Management director. For a small club, 42 members, I think we did well with 130 contacts, although as President I was proudest of the new Hams who made contacts and the way everyone worked together. -- KD5AFE
