Tom (W0IVJ), Joe (N0KTA), and Cliff (K8BUG) set up for field day on Tom's sister's ranch just west of Guthrie, OK. We used two masts built from 2x4's and 4x4's to support a Moxon rectangle beam with interchangeable elements for 40, 20, 15, and 10 meters. The antenna was suspended between the two masts at about 40 feet and rotated by a small TV rotator. A band change was accomplished by lowering the antenna and clipping on a new element loop. This took about 5 minutes. The antenna functioned very well and the front-to-back characteristics were fantastic. This was really noticed since we were operating between the east and west coasts. -- W0IVJ
