07/02/2004 | WT4F We did it! Another fantastic Field Day for WT4F, the Foothills Amateur Radio Club (www.wt4f.org)....

Our attendance was down this year due to other activities that were poorly planned to interfere with FD. (What were they thinking!!!?!??!) We bumped ourselves down from 3A to 2A so we would have less transmitters to sit idle.

The event was held at the home of KE4HGX/Gretchen and KS4XQ/Wes, who made wonderful hosts for us again for the 3rd year in a row!

Almost everything we set out to do we accomplished, with the exception of making more digital contacts and KG4UOY/Christopher failed to make a satellite/ISS contact, which bummed him out, but at least he gave it a try! Maybe next year we will be better prepared to get those contacts. Which is really what it is all about, learning and improving upon what you know!

Looking forward to FD 2005!!!!!
