07/02/2004 | WA6BGS This is kg6qco field day chairman for the amateur radio club of El Cajon, we had five stations at our site up in the mountains of Mount Laguna,California, which is in Southern California. we ran 40m, 20m, 15m, 10m which was our GOTA station and 6m.
I am very proud of all who attended our site and manned our stations, they were very professional in how they operated their stations. \
We received a visit from arrl southwestern section manager wa6mhz and arrl vice director nz6t which was a very enjoyable visit. we also had a visit from UPI news Roger Williams, who talk some pictures of our operation for publication in several major news papers, which added to the way I feel about Amateur Radio and it's need to be known to all persons and its advantages in times of emergencies.
