First Field Day at Surf City, NC was held in the new Soundside Park in Surf City, NC just off N.C. Highway 50 on the Topsail Island side of the swing bridge. Amateur operators that participated were brothers Joe (W4TSI) and Jim (N8JE) Ebner, father and son combination Dan (AG4ZB) and Justin (KG4ZVY) Guyor and Jeff Thigpen (K4SEF). Other hams in the area were helping during the set-up stage. -- N8JE
