07/09/2004 | K5WNH This was another fun Field Day with the added challenge of numerous thunderstorms as North Texas had record rainfall for June. This year, 20 and 40 meters were the best bands for QRP cw on this end...15 and to some degree, 80 meters were a disappointment. Adding a 2 element wire beam for 20 really helped. My only complaint is that Field Day just comes once a year! See you in '2005! -- K5WNH
