07/14/2004 | W5YA Two man team (class B) of Steve, WD9FJL, and Fred, KT5X, for our fith year together set up at 8,600 feet near Chama, New Mexico, on a private ranch. Living amid the clouds can be exciting, sometimes too exciting, as we lost a radio to static discharge. Our modest antennas did stand up to forty mile per hour gusts and we collected lots of CW QSO's. TNX, and hope to work you again next year! -- KT5X
