02/22/2002 | IK0YVV I was planning an all bands HP assisted entrant with full time activity to break the 1mega points wall .... 3 days before the contest i had a tube failure and i had no tubes to replace so .... i've been active just few hour (+/- 12 ) and on mainly 20 and 10 and just 1 hour on 15 ..... 1200 qso done ! Really great cndx , 3 hours more than 130 qso per hour , great fun with 100w . Nice to be able taking my frequency on 20m for a long run ( 5 hours +/- 500 qsos ) , really incredible being just in Italy with a KT34XA . I think best cndx i ever heard during an ARRL DX .
I'd like to thanks everybody who called me and the ones putted me in the packet cluster giving me some 6 qso per minutes rate .
