09/19/2002 | W4/VE3BUC Interesting experience using a Yaesu FT-100 powered by a deep-cycle battery and Hamstick antennas on the car to run this contest. The battery ran the radio and the computer for logging the contest. With this arrangement only 10-20m bands were used in the contest with 10 being the the hot spot.
